Leather Manufacturers Association
We Inspire to Create
The Sri Lanka Footwear & Leather Products Manufacturers Association serves as the central body supporting and advancing the footwear and leather products industry in Sri Lanka. Our work spans across advocacy, skill development, technology adoption, and global market promotion.
- Networking & Collaboration:
We create a platform for local and international collaboration — connecting manufacturers, suppliers, designers, and buyers through events such as the Annual Footwear & Leather Fair.
- Industry Representation:
We advocate for fair policies, safeguard local manufacturers, and represent industry interests at national and international levels.
- Export Promotion:
We collaborate with the Export Development Board (EDB) and other government agencies to open new markets and strengthen Sri Lanka’s global footprint in footwear and leather exports.
- Skill & Technology Development:
Through training programs, technical workshops, and international exposure visits, we uplift the capabilities of local manufacturers and align them with global standards.
Sustainability & Innovation:
We encourage the adoption of eco-friendly manufacturing practices, responsible sourcing, and the development of innovative, value-added products.
